    Carol Stream Fire District Battalion Chief Rob Schultz said the employee of Maac Machinery in the 500 block of Tower Boulevard was using compressed air to test a machine for leaks when the machine failed at about 9:30 p.m. The compressed air caused the machine to explode outward, killing the employee, Schultz said. The unidentified employee was pronounced dead at the scene.
