The meet came down to the final event, the 4x400 relay and Hopkinton won the race but C-C was able to take fourth place behind the efforts of Claudia Koontz, Lottie Franck, Samantha Hawkins and Lily Wetherbee, who had a combined time of 4:14.38.

After serving more than seven years in state prison for the 2006 rape of a Carlisle woman, Middlesex Superior Court Judge Leila Kern signed Traywick's release because the DA's office missed the 60-day deadline to file a petition for a commitment trial.
