But as plans were moving to open the 75,000-plus square-foot production facility and taproom, about 50 miles to the south another project was in the works for the one of the region's favorite breweries: A brewpub in Canton. It falls under the tutelage of first-time head brewer and New Jersey native Will Polensek, who started with Fat Head's when the North Olmsted brewery and taproom opened in 2009.

The city's lease with OBM expired last summer and was not renewed.
