Deshane, 38, of Potsdam with third-degree criminal trespass and an open container violation at 7 p.m. Thursday on Maple Street, He was arraigned in Potsdam Village Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, with bail set at $500 cash or $1,000. Police said they observed Mr. Deshane walking on the closed section of the Maple Street bridge with an open container in his hand.
