Heuveltons was tied 46-46 with a little more than five minutes left to play, but ended the game on a 19-7 run.

    After seeing its regular season title hopes dashed by a dramatic Potsdam Central comeback last week, the Canton Central boys hockey team avoided a post-season repeat on Wednesday at the Canton Pavilion in pulling away to a 4-0 decision in the semifinals of the Section 10 Division I playoffs. The Bears will now get to take on NAC regular season and five-time defending sectional champion Massena Central in the Division I final on Monday at Clarkson's Cheel Arena starting at 5 p.m. The All-NAC awards presentations will follow the conclusion of the championship game.
