Whitlatch coached for 15 seasons at Whitehall in the 1990s and early 2000s, and has worked in other programs at Canal Winchester over the years.

    A Canal Winchester couple were each charged with child endangering Dec. 18 after Pickerington police said they left a young child unattended in a vehicle while they were inside a business in the 1000 block of Hill Road. Reports said the 62-year-old man and the 50-year-old woman left the child -- no age was listed in the report -- alone for 45 minutes in the vehicle without the engine or heater running when the outside temperature was 26 degrees.
