Adams, 43 of Columbia, Alfonza McCutchen Jr., 39 of Irmo and Allison Amanda Sauls, 46, of New York, New York were charged in an eighteen count Indictment with various frauds related to the award of nearly $350 million dollars' worth of federal government construction contracts. According to an Indictment filed in federal court, the scheme took advantage of construction contracts administered through the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Small Business Administration.
