    Nancy Ondrashek's home in Fort Atkinson was destroyed in a June 1 fire that started near her clothes dryer. A Fort Atkinson woman, her granddaughter and great granddaughter are living in a camper at Lake Meyer after their home burned to the ground June 1. Nancy Ondrashek was taking a load of laundry out of the dryer at about 10:20 a.m. when she smelled something "funny" and noticed flames behind the dryer.

    Students in the University of Iowa's School of Urban and Regional Planning graduate program presented the results of a yearlong economic impact study of the Trout Run Trail to the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors last week. The Trout Run Trail has an annual economic impact of $1.6 to $2.4 million, according to a recently completed study of the 11-mile recreational trail loop around Decorah.
