Robert J. "Bobby" Presley Jr., 46, on Friday, June 8, appeared in Clare County District Court for arraignment on nine counts of felon in possession of a firearm and single counts of assault with intent to murder, torture, felon in possession of ammunition, and second-offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

    About 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, Michigan State Police troopers went to the emergency room at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital, where a 38-year-old woman was receiving treatment for injuries sustained in a recent assault. Troopers' subsequent investigation led them to conclude the Madison Heights woman had suffered her "very serious" injuries in an incident that occurred outside the village of Temple in Clare County's Redding Township.
