    GardenShare, a local nonprofit organization working on issues of food security, announced it had selected Edwards-Knox Central School for the 2017 Growing Community Award. Edward-Knox is the only school district in the county to participate in the USDA's Community Eligibility Provision, which provides free breakfast and lunch to all students without requiring households to apply individually for waivers.

    MALONE – The rain stopped, the sun came out, but it shined brightly for the Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue as the defending Section 10 Class C champions dismantled the Malone Huskies 32-6 in a game played at Crowner Field in Malone on Saturday. The Blue Devils scored a touchdown in all four quarters, amassed 321 yards on the ground and scored four rushing touchdowns en route to the one-side win.
