Robert Colson, 34, of Bucksport, Maine, faces a first-degree murder charge in connection to the shooting death of Matthew Schoshke of Tescott, Kansas, and he will be sent back to Kansas to face that charge.

    Orland, Maine: Early Thursday morning, three semi-trailers rumbled into the yard of Freshwater Stone to take center stage in Maine's construction industry for a moment: they were there to transport the three sections of a massive, 130,000-pound stone bench that will be the centerpiece of a renovated courtyard at Canal Plaza in Portland. Last November, the massive rock was selected personally by the landscape architect in charge, the nationally-known Michael Boucher, along with Canal Plaza's owner, and Jeff Gammelin, owner of Freshwater Stone and its quarry in Frankfort, Maine.
