According to Law Director Kenneth Fisher, the Medina County Commissioners unanimously approved the petition for annexation of the Katie Gilder property, located at 445 North Carpenter Road, on Dec. 22, 2015.

M ost of you have probably already noticed, but the start date for the Ohio Department of Transportation slip ramp project was pushed back again, but construction began earlier this week. City officials said the start date for the project, which will affect the southbound off ramp at Interstate 71 and state Route 303, was moved to June 14 and that this phase of the project is expected to last three to four weeks.

    According to Gary Hubbard, director of thee Medina County Drug Task Force, the three individuals were arrested for various crimes involving the sale and use of heroin. Task force agents began an investigation into the group after receiving information from Brunswick police officers that heroin was likely being sold in the Hemlock Court apartment complex.
