This also includes US 74/76 between mile markers 391 and 428.

    County commissioners called an emergency meeting at noon on Friday to vote on a resolution that would help close the sale of the property formerly known as The Brunswick Community Hospital to Centre Development Company II, LLC. CDC had until June 30 to purchase the hospital after commissioners granted the company multiple extensions while it worked to secure development permits for the property. According to Huey Marshall, attorney for Brunswick County, the company insuring the title for CDC's loan raised concerns about North Carolina General Statute 131E-13.
