She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jimmy Stowers of St. Simons Island; a daughter, Debra Ferguson , of St. Simons Island; a son, Kyle Stowers , of Ringgold, Ga.; two grandchildren, Samantha and James Stowers, of Ringgold; a brother, Steve Black , of Denver, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Ann Doss, of Snellville, Ga.; an aunt, Dr. Peggy Pettit, of South Riding, Va.; and several cousins.
