Ciopryna admitted to conspiracy to distributing and facilitating the distribution of a number of controlled substances - including alprazolam, hydrocodone, hydromorphone and oxycodone - through Coastal Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and collaborating pharmacies between Oct. 9 2014, and June 13, 2017.

    Glynn County police made an arrest Wednesday in a Halloween night shooting incident on Nottingham Drive, in which a man allegedly shot out the rear window of an occupied vehicle parked in a driveway and also fired several shots into a home with four children sleeping inside, according to a police report. No one was hurt in the shooting, one of several during the past two months that county and Brunswick Police are investigating.
