    One person is dead in a wreck in Terry County 4 and a half miles north of Wellman on U.S. 62/82. Authorities tell us that a Chevy Cruze was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes, the vehicle was driven by Carrie Lynn Spann of Lubbock Two vehicles were in in the southbound lane, Saturn SUV driven by Carlos Beltran of Seagraves, and a Chevy Camaro driven by Tammy Tran .

    One person is dead and six have been injured in a wreck in Terry County about eight and a half miles south of Brownfield on Highway 62. Initial reports from county officials say a vehicle was driving on the wrong side of the road, causing a head-on collision with another vehicle.

    Former Brownfield High School student and star athlete Sha'Colby Hill pleaded guilty to a 3rd degree felony on Monday morning, according to 106th District Attorney Michael Munk. Hill was charged with deadly conduct as a result of a 2014 shooting in Seagraves that Hill and three other men were charged in.

    Law Enforcement Officers from Yoakum County and Terry County took Melissa Kinney Edgar of Brownfield into custody on Friday afternoon with arrest warrants issued from Yoakum County. Kinney-Edgar stands charged with "Theft of Property, greater than $300,000", a first degree felony and "Money Laundering, greater than $300,000, also a first degree felony."
