  1. RE: *SQLPKG created by remote BIND from DB2 z/OS and authorisationRead the original story w/Photo

    Wednesday Aug 8 | Midrange-l mailing list

Solved! Actually, the solution is simple, not to say obvious... As I know the SQL name of the object, all I need to do is use SQL to tell the remote system what I want. GRANT EXECUTE ON .

    Monday Aug 6 | Midrange-l mailing list

Bummer... The name of the object in the library corresponding to the collection is not the name as I see it on the source system. When I bind a member called ETAPOC, the *SQLPKG is called ETAPO00001.

QSH is deviant :) but sufficiently unixy to be recognizable. It's just not as functional as PASE, in that it doesn't sport a working development environment.

When I try to use ACS to access the IFS, it fails with message "MSGGEN004 - An unexpected end of the file or stream has been encountered ". I'm assuming that maybe there are more server functions that need to be assigned to the certificate in DCM, but I'm not sure which ones.

You really don't need a Linux or BSD box just for man pages anyway, since those are all online eg: [1] https://linux.die.net/man/1/find [2] . The same with the AIX: [3] The easiest way to find AIX man pages: [4] http://lmgtfy.com/?q=aix+man+find Also, explainshell.com provides a relatively decent description of the command being executed along with each part of the command: [5] The only thing missing is the "plain english" synopsis that Jack gave in the first reply.
