    Sep 12, 2018 | Midrange-l mailing list

Seems to me that the bet approach would be to have them build the file using a temporary name and rename it to the form you expect only when the file is complete. That would save everybody a lot of grief! Hmm, If you have them loaded on Dev, and you have the PTF's applied, you 'might' be better off doing a SAVLICPGM from that and putting those save files on Prod and RSTLICPGM. This way the PTF's would also be already applied.

    Aug 8, 2018 | Midrange-l mailing list

Solved! Actually, the solution is simple, not to say obvious... As I know the SQL name of the object, all I need to do is use SQL to tell the remote system what I want. GRANT EXECUTE ON .

Bummer... The name of the object in the library corresponding to the collection is not the name as I see it on the source system. When I bind a member called ETAPOC, the *SQLPKG is called ETAPO00001.

Hi Jack When we do microservices for our IBM i customers - then we have three differen roads we follow: 1) Seneca when we make node.js 2) Spring-boot for java 3) IceBreak for RPG I am working on a new concept for RPG that merges the two of the above concepts namely 1 node and 3 IceBreak - I have called it node.RPG so far,. The aim is to provide a self contained http stack to a services layer so you can deploy RPG as a real microservice, It is premature - but i guess you get the picture.

QSH is deviant :) but sufficiently unixy to be recognizable. It's just not as functional as PASE, in that it doesn't sport a working development environment.
