    A Dade City man was killed Thursday night when he lost control of his truck and crashed into railroad equipment and tracks, causing the vehicle to flip several times. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Jeffrey K. Gommier, 50, was heading eastbound in the outside lane of State Road 50 approaching South Main Street around 7:20 p.m. For unknown reasons, Gommier lost control of his 1998 Chevrolet S-10 and went off the road, entering the shoulder of SR-50, troopers said.
