    Damion Littlefield, 21, of Jackson, burglary of a motor vehicle, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, misuse of identification, burglary, theft. According to police, a Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad worker on Feb. 21 noticed that someone had broken into a pickup truck belonging to the organization parked at a rail yard in Brooks.

    A man suspected of robbing Unity Pharmacy April 9 eluded capture for more than a week before being taken into police custody April 18. According to a press release from Waldo County Sheriff's Office, Andrew Sousa, 33, was located at a campsite in a wooded area in Brooks and took off on foot when Sheriff's Deputies and a Belfast K-9 unit arrived. After a short chase, police arrested Sousa - who will be charged with class B robbery - and took him to Waldo County General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
