The annual Bristol 4th of July parade, the oldest annual parade in the country, will be celebrating its 230th year this Independence Day. The parade which begins at 10:30 am, will step-off at the corner of Chestnut Street and Hope Street and end on High Street, between State Street and Bradford Street. Comment?
Update Tuesday, 4:30 p.m.: Richard Jean-Georges was found dead off the coast of Jac on Tuesday afternoon, according to Red Cross spokesman Freddy Roman. Costa Rican authorities are preparing to collect the body. Comment?
On Tuesday, February 17, filmmaker David A. Wilson will make his second visit to Roger Williams University as part of the President's Distinguished Speakers Series for an event titled "How to Talk About Race Without Starting a Riot." Wilson's documentary, "Meeting David Wilson," will be screened in its entirety, and a question and answer session will follow. Comment?
