    A Newtown man has been arrested for bringing the carcass of a suspected diseased deer back to Connecticut. Wayne Simko, 65, was arrested earlier this month on charges that he illegally brought the dead buck to Connecticut from a deer farm in Pennsylvania, a state that has confirmed cases of Chronic Wasting Disease.
