    Phase I of the Swan River's restoration in Breckenridge hit a roadblock earlier this month when mine wastes were unearthed along a 1,000-foot stretch - the blue and orange areas in this diagram - of the project. The mitigation efforts to remove and prevent the tailings from getting into a proposed stream will now cost the county more than $300,000, moving the total estimated price tag to about $2.4 million.
