The Boynton Beach Police Department bought Daxxx for $10,500 from Metro Dade K9 Guard Dog Services Inc. He originally hails from the Czech Republic. The department was able to pay for him thanks to generous donations from the community and the more than $13,500 raised during BBPD Spring Fest featuring the South Florida Police K9 Competition on March 24. TD Bank customers are invited to count their change in the Penny Arcade at the bank on Boynton Beach Boulevard and donate either all or a portion of the change to the Boynton Beach Police Department.
