    Any expectations of presenting a new highway barn to voters this fall or early winter might have been dashed when bids for the proposed building came back higher than the Board of Selectmen expected. Town Administrator Martin McNamara reported to selectmen at the board's last meeting that even a "bare bones option" presented by the town's engineering firm Weston and Sampson came back "significantly higher than expected" and that he stopped the company from doing any further work on the plan.
