    While officials with three Yadkin towns have requested permission from state legislators to move their odd-year municipal elections to even years, no change has been approved at the state level, so local election officials will be handling odd-year elections as normal business until they hear differently. Filing will open for seats in all four of Yadkin County's municipalities on July 7 at noon and will end on July 21 at noon.
