The Bug Tussle Trek has been making this trip for 48 years.

    Texas Department of Transportation officials today advised motorists who regularly travel US 82 between Bonham and Sherman, Texas, to slow down as they negotiate a planned lane/traffic shift on Aug. 23 and 24. The traffic shift is necessary for contractor crews to install concrete beams for the overpass under construction at the intersection of US 82 and FM 898 in Fannin County. On Aug. 23, eastbound lanes on US 82 at this location will be closed.
