    Capt. Paul Jordan of the Williamstown Volunteer Fire Department said the call came in after 9 p.m. about a fire at 357 N. Meadowlark Drive, Boaz, Jordan said the front of the house was full engulfed in flames when they arrived on scene. He said the department responded with four engines and 20 firefighters.

Volunteers from the clubs worked with the Wood County Solid Waste Authority to operate a paint and tire dropoff event Saturday morning in the parking lot of the old Fenton Art Glass factory in Williamstown.
