On Wednesday morning, Gregory McCord, the superintendent for Marlboro County public schools, brought a tractor trailer south to collect donations of non-perishables, dog food, water, cleaning supplies and other necessities from Bluffton Middle, Shanklin Elementary, Battery Creek High and Whale Branch Early College High, where the goods from schools around the county were consolidated.
