    What's cooking at the Croswell Opera House for its 2018-2019 Special Events Season, which runs from October to April? There will be a series of readings of plays on the first Tuesday of each month in the studio theater, beginning with Shakespeare in Love on Tuesday, She Kills Monsters on Nov. 6, and Santaland Diaries and The Eight Reindeer Monologues on Dec. 4. Scheduled for 2019 are Morning After Grace, by Michigan's Carey Crim, on Feb. 5, The Zoo Story and The American Dream on March 5, and Topdog/Underdog on April 2. Tennessee Williams' Glass Menagerie will be presented in six performances, March 1-3 and March 8-10, and the annual all-area high school show, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street will take the stage in five performances from Jan. 26 and Feb. 3.     The City of Toledo's first public art piece to be installed almost 40 years ago under a city-funded ordinance is getting a new home. Major Ritual, a large, two-piece Corten steel sculpture created by New York native Beverly Pepper, was placed in 1979 at the eastern edge of the Civic Center Mall at Orange Street and Spielbusch Avenue, next to U.S. District Court.
