    Paul H. Lowman Jr., who celebrated his 95th birthday in August, is the sole living charter member from the original group of 15 that started the Blairstown Ambulance Corps in 1952. Lowman, who retired from the corps in 1977, is happy to know that the Branchville Ambulance Corps has served the community for more than 63 years, and wishes all the best to the next generations and with the new building location on Route 94, which the corps moved into in May and officially celebrated last month.

Sandberg and Martin Semken Sr. saw the need to have an ambulance corps to service Blairstown.
