    A Watertown man was sentenced Tuesday in Jefferson County Court to 3½ years in state prison for participating in a 2012 robbery in Black River in which marijuana was stolen. Otto D. Coello, 25, also was ordered to undergo three additional years of supervision upon his release after pleading guilty March 31 to second-degree robbery.

Gerrard, Black River, had filed suit in October in U.S. District Court, Utica, with claims the sheriff made false and defamatory statements based on “personal bias” and that the statements prevented him from being able to find employment in law enforcement.
