Jack Dalrymple, who helped lead the state through the most prosperous time in its history thanks to an oil development boom, announced Monday that he won't seek re-election in 2016. Dalrymple, 66, told reporters at the state Capitol in Bismarck that he and his wife, Betsy, made the decision last week to spend more time with family, including their five grandchildren.
