Posey and U.S. Postal Inspector Frank Dyer. Deann Marchett Dixon Stevenson, 43, of Birmingham, entered her plea Tuesday before U.S. District Court Judge R. David Proctor.

Quinese Nichole Nichols, 30, of Birmingham, entered her plea Wednesday before U.S. District Court Judge Madeline Hughes Haikala to conspiracy to take money from a BBVA Compass Bank in Trussville by "force, violence and intimidation" on Nov. 16. She also pleaded guilty to conspiring to carry a firearm in furtherance of bank robbery.

    On Tuesday a federal judge sentenced Janard Shamar Cunningham, 36, to ten years in prison for beating a Birmingham police detective in 2015, according to a release by U.S. Attorney Robert O. Posey and Special Agent in Charge Steven L. Gerido of the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives . In 2015 Cunningham, a three-time felon, was pulled over by Detective Johnny Brooks for tailgating his car before pulling around and honking his horn.
