    Hoover police have charged a man with capital murder after he allegedly beat his pregnant ex-girlfriend so badly that she lost the baby. Christopher Ammons Kemp, 29, of Center Point, was arrested around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to Captain Gregg Rector of the Hoover Police Department.

Agents arrested Robert Eugene Heintzelman, 52, of Jacksonville, on Feb. 24. He faces one count of possession of child pornography and one count of dissemination of child pornography. Authorities arrested Jesus Loera Aka Jacinto Zapata, 36, of Ashville, on Feb. 25. He is being held at the St. Clair County jail and faces two counts of possession of child pornography.
