Saginaw County 911 Central Dispatch received a report of a suspicious situation around 10 a.m. Feb. 6. A caller had witnessed a black male dump bloody items into a dumpster, including a purse and wallet, behind the Saginaw Public Schools office at 550 Millard St. A police officer went to the dumpster, which is just a few blocks from the Jefferson One building, where Rogers was assaulted.
