That's hardly ideal for stripers, but Many finally had a full day to fish after taking his daughter Isabella to softball tournaments around the country -- and there was no end time to this trip.

    Bluefish have been such a routine catch while fishing with bunkers in the Raritan Bay area that it was a shock Thursday morning when Chuck Many of Annandale returned to the mouth of the Hudson River with his Ty Man from Gateway Marina in Highlands only to find no marks in areas where we'd had a hot bluefish bite on chunks along with releasing six stripers up to 24 pounds just two mornings earlier. There were several other boats in the area, and only Fisher Price seemed to be having any success -- catching three bass by trolling bunker spoons.
