Garry David Gac Jr. is charged with aggravated assault - domestic violence, a Class C felony, simple assault on a peace officer, a Class C felony, and resisting arrest, a Class C felony, in district court in Minot. According to the probable cause affidavit filed with the court by Berthold Police Chief Al Schmidt, the Berthold police department received a 911 call from Gac's girlfriend, who said she was being chased by Gac.

    Ward County 4-H hosted the Northwest Archery Match at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds in Minot on March 17. Categories for the event were split up by the age of the participants and the type of bow used. Ages included beginners, between ages 8 and 10; juniors, between ages 11 and 13, and seniors, between ages 14 and 18. Two types of bows were used, barebow and freestyle.
