The Bennington ceremony will begin Saturday at 1:45 p.m. at Town Offices on South Street, with bells scheduled to sound off at 2 p.m. Albert said he had read about a concurrent resolution passed by Congress in 1963 calling for government and civic leaders to ring bells at that time.

With Felix, the Eagles Band will play Carl Hahne's "Slavonic Fantasy" at Windsor Lake on Wednesday, July 1, and at the Veterans Home Park in Bennington, Vt., on Wednesday, July 8. Felix graduated from Drury in 2007 and received his bachelor's degree in trumpet performance and music education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
