    A Warren County man is suing the maker of a gas can that exploded, and the family that initially handed it to him, when he thew gasoline on a trash fire in 2014. Kurt Schubert, of the 600 block of Mount Bethel Road in Mansfield Township , suffered third-degree burns over two thirds of his body after the fuel ignited his clothes and skin that February, leaving him with permanent injuries, according to the lawsuit.

    Michael A. Fiore, 57, of the first block of North Main Street, is charged with leaving the scene of the Harmony Township crash Jan. 6. Fiore was driving a 1999 Buick Park Avenue Ultra northbound when he lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic about 6 p.m. between Hutchinson Station and Reeder roads, according to New Jersey State Police and a warrant filed in state Superior Court in Belvidere. Fiore's car hit a Subaru Forester going the opposite direction, which then struck a Honda Odyssey, rolled onto its side and hit a Kia Soul, state police said.
