According to a press release from the Rolette County Sheriff, officers pursued a 52-year-old Belcourt man through multiple towns for roughly 45 minutes before arresting him in Dunseith, N.D., and took him to the Rolette County Jail.

Authorities arrested the 67-year-old Keplin Monday in Belcourt on accusations that he assaulted a former Turtle Mountain council member, and later transferred him to Rugby.

"I hope people don't focus on the hate for the people that did this because our world is, our whole world is filling up with so much hate right now," said Mollie Frederick, an acquaintance of Greywind's.
