Van Meter, fighting the windy, blowing conditions at Panther Community Stadium on the grounds of the Northern Bedford County School District, drilled a 41-yard field goal with 1:51 left to lift his Lions to their third straight district title with a 17-14 win over the Bisons on Friday night.
