    Though not "ideal" or "perfect," the South Cooper Mountain Community Plan will move forward after it was unanimously passed by Beaverton Planning Commission Wednesday, Dec. 10. One apprehension brought up numerous times at the Dec. 10 meeting was an east-west collector that would connect Southwest Loon Drive to Southwest 175th Avenue. Parents who send their kids to Scholls Heights Elementary School on Loon Drive said that a three-lane thoroughfare posed a danger to children who may walk to the campus.

Fueled by job growth that brought 2,084 full-time equivalent, or FTE, employees to its campus at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Jenkins Road since Jan. 1, 2012, the company is prepared to construct two office buildings and two parking structures near the Tiger Woods Center on the sprawling grounds.
