McElroy, Beaver Local's head coach, believes his staff is "chomping at the bit" to get to Bethany College on July 19th to begin preparations for the game.

Upon entering the intersection of State Route 32 he failed to yield and struck a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 43 year-old Eugene Collins, Jr. of Portsmouth.

    Two people were taken to separate hospitals in Columbus and Waverly following a two-vehicle crash on State Route 32 in Pike County, Tuesday. According to the Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Katlin Smalley, 21, of Beaver, was traveling northwest on State Route 32 around 3:30 p.m. when her Chevrolet Cruze struck a Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Zachary Hoover, 22, of Beaver, that had failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of Route 32 and Coal Dock Road.
