Ikarus is a 17-minute electro-acoustic composition in one movement framed as the story of Ikarus and Daedalus who attempted to escape the labyrinth on wings of wax and feathers. Although Daedalus cautioned his son, in the elation of flight, Ikarus flew too close to the sun and plunged to his death in the sea.
