    Three Queens construction companies convicted of stiffing 150 workers on overtime pay will have to cough up nearly $400,000 in restitution, authorities said Wednesday. The Queens companies intentionally misclassified the carpenters and painters as independent contractors to avoid paying them overtime wages, the Attorney General's office said in a statement announcing the convictions.
