    Tuesday, Nov. 6, is Election Day and the Grant County clerk's office will be closed for the day to manage the election, but the polls will be open at 7 a.m. and remain open until 7 p.m. Registered voters can go to any of nine voting centers around the county, including the Grant County Administration Building, the Silver City Woman's Club, the Tyrone Community Center, Cliff High School, the Pinos Altos VFD, the Santa Clara National Guard Armory, the Bayard Community Center, the Hurley Community Center and San Lorenzo Elementary School. On the local level, there are a number of contested races around the county.
