    As reported earlier by the Beat, the body of Danny Paz, 41, of Bayard was located by deputies the morning of Saturday, July 1, in the northwest portion of Bill Evans Reservoir. According to a Grant County Sheriff's Department spokesman, they are awaiting the results of an autopsy by the New Mexico Office of Medical Investigations to determine cause of death.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office did confirm that they are investigating the death of a 41-year-old man from Bayard at Bill Evans Lake on Saturday.
