    Bay St. Louis Police on Monday arrested a local man who allegedly waited in the bathroom of a local motel while two female accomplices lured an unsuspecting man inside where they could rob him, authorities said Tuesday. Hancock County Jail records show that Khristopher Trevon McDonald, 27, of Bay St. Louis was arrested and charged with armed robbery, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

    The Bay-Waveland School District Board of Trustees on Thursday approved negotiations with the city of Bay St. Louis on the "Safe Routes to School" project. The city had received a $100,000 grant for the project from the Mississippi Department of Transportation to provide "pedestrian safety improvements" - basically, new sidewalks and signals - leading to Bay High, North Bay Elementary, and the Bay Waveland Middle School Complex.
