The concert, a program of the Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge, is designed to enhance harmony through unity, justice and peace, according to a news release. The musical selections will be primarily be performed by white and African-American congregations who have created partnerships.

An officer reported that 28-year-old Sirrena Martin, a probational corrections officer, was having sex with an inmate and brought the inmate a cell phone, Department of Corrections Spokesman Ken Pastorick said in the press release.
