    A federal grand jury this week indicted a 28-year-old Bartlesville man for illegally making a destructive device and possession of an unregistered destructive device. On May 11, Bartlesville Police and the Tulsa Police bomb squad went to Ryan Beck's home on Debbie Lane after authorities had found a explosive device on a nearby walking path.

    Work on Bartlesville's historic Central Middle School continues throughout the summer, to make sure the building is ready for students to occupy when school starts on Aug. 18. The extensive renovation of the building is being financed by $12.2 million in bond funding passed by voters in 2013. The almost 100-year-old school facility first opened up for students in 1917, and has been closed since last summer to allow the project to continue.
